Good Habits bring Good Health

9/13/2021

Welcome to this week’s Family Health Minute.

This week’s minute looks at how good habits bring good health.

Being healthy is a priority for all families, yet with the hustle and bustle of today’s hectic life, it can be a challenge.  Many families want to know what they can do to be as healthy as possible.

It is important to create healthy lifestyle habits.  Children imitate their parents, so it is necessary to create a good example. Here are some tips to help your family be healthy and happy.
1. Sleep:  Adults need seven or eight hours of sleep and children need even more.  Sleep is when your brain does its daily maintenance.

2. Stay Hydrated: Drink six or eight glasses of water daily. Your heart and brain are 73% water, so don’t risk dehydration.

3. Eat Good Food: Your body deserves the best fuel to burn, mostly plant-based like fruits and vegetables. Some people like a little meat, some a little seafood, some a little dairy or rice or wheat.  Find the right combination for you and your family.

4. Move & Breathe:  Keep your body in good working order through exercise for strength and coordination.  Breathe deeply to improve your energy and your endurance.

Good habits bring good health. Try it and see!

And of course, Chiropractic care has been proven to improve your overall health and well being.

Make chiropractic a regular health habit  for the whole family to ensure your spines and nervous systems are working the best they can.

And that is this week’s Family Health Minute.
