In the last few years, I have taken my kids to Nicole and Susan as well for adjustments; my daughter was struggling with recurrent ear infections, and I didn’t want her to be on antibiotics every time. She had a few adjustments and never developed an ear infection again.
As a medical doctor myself I was not very familiar with chiropractic therapy, but over the years I have seen the impact it has and how well it can be combined with other health practices as it has a unique value in restoring the function of the musculoskeletal system and with that, the connection with and functioning of the nervous system.
Chiropractic aims to treat the root cause of a disease instead of treating a symptom, which I think is very important, also to prevent recurrence of health-issues.
I will most definitely refer my patients for chiropractic therapy, as I think in this time and age it is important to look at health from a multidimensional perspective, where different specialties each have their place in the treatment of a patient.
