Chronic Stress Really Does Spread Cancer in The Body

Chronic Stress Really Does Spread Cancer in The Body

Welcome to this week’s Brain-Based Wellness News.

In today’s news we will look at stress and its affect on the spread of cancer.

Researchers discovered that when mice were exposed to chronic, ongoing stress, it was quicker and easier for cancer to spread throughout their bodies.

The study found the stress hormone adrenaline was activating the sympathetic, ‘fight or flight’ nervous system, allowing cancerous cells to spread to other parts of the body faster.

Although this study has not been replicated in humans as of yet, it helps us understand the life threatening affects of stress on the body.

Managing your stress is critical, and chiropractic care is a good first step to help you better manage your stress.

Get regular chiropractic checkups for the whole family, and make sure your spine and your brain are working the best they can.

Your health will be better because of it.
