Stress Response Evaluation
We use the Stress Response Evaluation (SRE) to gain a clear picture of how your nervous system is functioning.
Measuring How Your Body Responds to Stress
This gentle, non-invasive test shows us how your body reacts to stress and, just as importantly, how well it recovers. With this insight, we can create a personaliased care plan that helps your system adapt more effectively, restore balance, and improve long-term wellbeing.
What is the Stress Response Evaluation (SRE)?
The NeuroInfiniti Stress Response Evaluation (SRE) is a highly accurate way of measuring how your body responds to stress. This 20-minute computerised exam uses research-grade equipment and sensors placed on your skin (shoulders, head, and hands) to track your neurological responses. There are no needles or penetration of any kind, making it safe and comfortable for all patients.
How the SRE Works
During the test, your body’s responses to three different stress challenges are measured. The evaluation records key markers such as heart rate, heart rate variability, respiration, skin conductance, temperature, muscle tone, and brain wave activity. Just as important, it shows how well your nervous system recovers afterward. This gives us valuable insight into both your current neurological health and the type of care best suited for your needs.
Understanding The Why
What the Results Tell Us
The SRE provides a detailed picture of your nervous system function. It allows us to see whether your body can adapt and recover effectively after stress. We typically perform an SRE at your first visit (for patients aged 6 and up), and then repeat it at 12 weeks. This lets us track real, measurable changes in your neurological function as care progresses.
