6 Simple Changes That Will Make Your Brain Work Better this year

Welcome to this week’s Brain Based Wellness News.

In today’s news we will look at 6 lifestyle changes that will help make your brain work better.

Just like all of the other parts of your body, your brain requires daily care to function optimally.

Here are some simple lifestyle changes you can make that will have an enormous effect on your brain’s health.

Get enough sleep. Studies show that not getting enough sleep impairs brain function and can even change the brain’s DNA making you vulnerable to depression.

Eat the Right Foods. Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids (walnuts, eggs, and leafy greens) and flavonoids (coffee, berries, leafy greens, and dark chocolate) have been shown to improve brain function.

Get moderate exercise.  Regular exercise improves both brain health and the rest of your body.

Make time to clear your mind. Research shows that regular meditation improves brain function as well as increases happiness.

Learn something new. Learning something new creates new pathways in your brain and helps your brain stay more flexible.

Take some time off. Taking at least 1 day off a week improves productivity and regular vacations are not only essential to brain function, but can actually extend your life!

And of course, Chiropractic care has been proven to improve brain function and health.

Get regular chiropractic checkups for the whole family, and make sure your spine and your brain are working the best they can.

Your health will be better because of it.
